Rules and scoring
Your launcher sits at the bottom of the board with the loaded bubble and the next one beside it. Tap the next bubble, or press X, to swap them. The bubble flies in a straight line, bounces off the side walls and sticks to the first bubble or ceiling it touches, snapping into the honeycomb grid.
When it joins a group of three or more bubbles of its own color, the group pops for 10 points each. Anything left hanging falls for 20 points each, and a drop of six or more earns extra. Popping on several shots in a row builds a combo that multiplies your points up to three times.
You only get colors that are still on the board. Keep every bubble above the red line at the bottom, or the round ends.
Power ups
| Power up | What it does |
|---|---|
| 💣 Bomb | Blasts every bubble around the spot where it lands, stones and glass too. |
| 🌈 Rainbow | Matches any color and pops every touching group of two or more. |
| 🔥 Fireball | Burns through every bubble on its path, bouncing off walls, up to the ceiling. |
| ⚡ Lightning | Clears the whole row of the bubble it hits. |
Tap a power up slot to load it, then aim and shoot. Tap it again to put it back. Power ups never use up a shot. You earn them with combos, big drops and chapter rewards.
Fifty levels in five chapters
Bubble Meadow
Three colors, bank shots, your first animals and the bomb.
Animal Rescue
Gray stones, the rainbow and fireball, and a ceiling that moves down.
Stone Garden
Five colors, lightning and a shorter aim guide.
Falling Sky
Faster ceilings, six colors and tighter shot limits.
Master Pop
Every mechanic at once with the shortest guide.
Each level has one goal and a limited number of shots. Clear the board means popping every colored bubble. Free the animals means dropping every glass bubble with an animal inside. A score goal asks for a target score before the shots run out. Win for one star, then beat the two score marks on the star bar for two or three stars. Every unused shot adds 100 points.
The aim guide is a dotted line that shows the path of your shot, with every wall bounce. On levels 1 to 20 it shows the full path and a ring where the bubble will land. From level 21 it shows only the start of the path, and it gets shorter again at levels 31 and 41, so the master chapter is about reading angles yourself.
Classic and Daily modes
Classic is the endless bubble shooter. Choose four, five or six colors and pop for as long as you can. A new row slides in from the top every few shots, and the timer speeds up the longer you last. Clearing the whole board gives 1,000 points and a fresh set of rows. Your best score is saved on this device.
The Daily board is one board for everyone, with the same bubbles in the same order. The ceiling drops one row every 12 shots. Clear it to grow your daily streak, then replay it to beat your own score. A new board arrives every day at midnight UTC.
Tips and strategy
Aim for the top. Bubbles near the ceiling hold up everything below, so popping a small group there often drops a huge cluster for far more points than popping at the bottom.
Use the walls. A bank shot can reach a gap that a straight shot cannot. Watch where the guide bounces and land the bubble behind the bubbles that block your direct line.
Plan with the next bubble. If the loaded color has no good spot, swap it and keep it for later.
Keep the combo going. Three popping shots in a row earn a power up, so small sure pops beat risky long shots. Save a bomb or lightning for stones and for a ceiling close to the red line.
Why play Bubble Shooter
Bubble Shooter is easy to learn and hard to master. It trains your sense of angles, color spotting and planning ahead, and a level only takes a few minutes, which makes it a relaxing break for kids and adults alike.
Bubble Shooter FAQ
Is this Bubble Shooter free to play?
Yes. Bubble Shooter on OnlineGames2Play is completely free, with no download and no sign up. It runs in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers.
How do I aim and shoot on a phone?
Put your finger on the board and drag to aim. The dotted guide follows your finger and shows every wall bounce. Lift your finger to shoot. Drag below the launcher before you let go to cancel the shot.
What happens to bubbles that are left hanging?
Any bubble that is no longer connected to the ceiling falls off the board. Falling bubbles score twice as much as popped ones, and a drop of six or more gives an extra bonus and shakes the screen.
How do I free the trapped animals?
Animals sit inside glass bubbles that never pop by color. Pop the colored bubbles that connect them to the ceiling and they fall free. A bomb, a fireball or lightning also frees an animal it hits.
How do I earn three stars?
Every level has two score marks shown on the star bar. Win the level for one star, pass the first mark for two and the second for three. Each shot you do not use adds 100 points when you win.
How do I get power ups?
Levels 4, 9, 15 and 22 each give you two of a new power up. After that you earn a random one for every third popping shot in a row, for a drop of eight or more bubbles, and when you first clear every fifth level.
Why is the aim guide shorter on later levels?
The full guide on early levels shows the whole path and where the bubble will land. From level 21 the guide shows only the start of the path, and it gets shorter again at levels 31 and 41, so later levels reward a good eye.
Is every level possible to beat?
Yes. Every level was tested by a computer player using the same rules, board and shot limit, and each one was won many times. The board of a level is always the same, only the order of the bubbles changes.
